Homemade Kefir Sourdough Bread!
Meet the newest addition to our fam! When it’s alive and it shows up daily, we consider it family! This bread even ups the sourdough game! It is soft, with a firm crust and an unbelievable flavor. We will be serving this bread out here on the farm for our Saturday morning Homemade Kefir Workshop. With the addition of homemade kefir (store bought kefir will not perform like this, just FYI) this bread contains extra B vitamins (B is for Brain), calcium and easily digested proteins/fats that partially carry through. Through the bulk fermentation process, postbiotics are created which is the result of prebiotics + probiotics.
Homemade kefir will also naturally preserve your bread longer, so it molds more slowly. And remember the diverse set of microorganisms do the same inside of you.
