PACT Member Achievement | Hailey Herrera

One of the things we value at the Professional Artists of Central Texas is seeing our members take their work into new communities and reach new audiences.

PACT member Hailey Herrera’s distinctive watercolor batik work is currently featured in the front windows of Ideal Glass Studios in New York City.

Her process is the result of years of experimentation with thin rice and textured mulberry papers, wet-in-wet watercolor techniques, layered color, and optical color mixing.

The finished works reward both distance and close inspection: the composition resolves from across the room while closer viewing reveals unexpected color, texture, and detail.

It is exciting to see a PACT member representing the depth of artistic talent found here in Central Texas in New York City.

Carol will showcase her fine-art photography celebrating wildlife, nature, Texas landscapes, and travel — available in multiple formats and sizes.

SOLD! We're excited to share that this stunning original soft pastel on sanded paper artwork, "Big Sky" by Kristin Faith Larson, from the current exhibition of Professional Artists of Central Texas at Degallery, has found a new loving home in Texas. It's sure to bring joy and a sense of peace to its new international collector's home. More artwork available and will be on display until the end of August.
