Welcome to the world, Jett Michael. 🤎
Born August 18th.
From the very beginning of labor, there were curveballs that no one could have predicted. Moments that brought questions, uncertainty, and decisions that had to be made with one thing at the very front of everyone’s minds:
Jett.
His health.
His safety.
His well-being.
Every decision, every change of plans, every moment of waiting came back to that sweet baby boy.
And through it all, the Lord was there.
His hand was evident in the moments that felt calm and the moments that felt uncertain. In the unexpected turns. In the people placed in the room. In the wisdom given when decisions had to be made.
And Mom—oh, Mom. 🤍
You kept going because you knew exactly who you were fighting for.
Every contraction, every difficult moment, every unexpected change was met with the same fierce love for the little boy you had carried and prayed for. You trusted the Lord with the birth that was unfolding in front of you.
And Dad was right there—loving her, supporting her, helping her navigate each new moment, and standing beside her as they made decisions for the son they loved more than words could ever explain.
There is something so beautiful about watching two parents become a team in the middle of birth.
They didn't have to know what the next moment would hold.
They just had to keep trusting the One who did.
And then… Jett was here.
After all the waiting.
After all the unexpected moments.
After every prayer, every decision, every ounce of strength—
they finally got to hold the little boy who had been at the center of it all.
The Lord was faithful.
He was faithful in labor.
He was faithful in delivery.
He was faithful in every unknown.
And He was faithful in bringing Jett safely into his parents' arms.
Jett Michael, your story began with a whole lot of love, a whole lot of prayer, and a God who was present in every single detail.
It was an incredible honor for Grit & Grace to stand beside your family and witness the Lord's hand woven through your birth story.
What a gift it was to watch your mom and dad fight for you, pray for you, and walk every step of this journey together.
