**As of 134pm MT the remainder of the Winter Weather Advisory has been cancelled**

***As of Noon MT, Yuma county has been removed from the Winter Weather Advisory. See the updated graphic for the Freeze Warning update.

On this chilly early May day we have issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Yuma, Kit Carson and Cheyenne (CO) through the afternoon Wednesday. Current forecast snow amounts up to 5 inches are forecast with the highest across the western portions of each county. The snow will be wet and heavy. Portions of the Freeze Watch have been upgraded to a Warning for Wednesday night into Thursday morning. There are some questions as to how cold temperatures will get and will be dependent on how quickly clouds move out.

Please Join us on June 13th for our annual Back the Blue Event. The carnival will be up and running for the event. Instead of charging for the carnival we will be doing a food drive and are asking for voluntary canned food donations instead. We are also looking for volunteers to help run carnival rides. If interested please contact Collin Koop.

Snow will begin on the Kansas/Colorado state line between 5-10am MT and spread eastward through 3pm MT. Snowfall is expected to end around midnight Saturday night. Bitterly cold temperatures will accompany this system.

We have issued a High Wind Watch for the entire Tri-State area Friday. Winds may gust up to 65 MPH leading to blowing dust reduced visibilities and air quality. Hazardous travel is likely Friday.
