Funding IDD services isn’t just about budgets; it’s about people. It’s about individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities having the opportunity to live, work, and thrive in their communities with dignity and independence.
As a provider of these services, we are urging support for a 3% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) through Senate Budget Resolution #261 from our lawmakers. More than 5,000 individuals remain on residential waiting lists across our state, and the need continues to grow.
