If you’re new here, welcome. This is Mountain Spring Farm, a sacred spot tucked in the Appalachians outside Burnsville, North Carolina. It’s home to bubbling creeks, peaceful forest spaces, our horses, a lot of quiet, and the work I love most: helping women slow down long enough to hear what’s true in their souls. Over the next few weeks I’ll share what happens here and a few ways to join us. And if you’ve been here a while, thank you for walking alongside us. Say hi below!

I built something I needed. It’s a web application journal tool called Held & Seen. Now, I’m excited to be sharing it with you!!

I’ve often journaled and practiced art for connecting deeply with my inner world. And I’ve coached others with the horses and watched wonderful healing begin when we can sit authentically with what’s inside of us and then explore gently.

This application is a place to actually sit with feelings before rushing to fix things. I built Held & Seen, a guided reflection tool that walks you through naming what happened, feeling what rises, noticing where it lives in your body, and meeting the deeper story underneath. Then, it gently asks what God might be saying to you through it.

It’s contemplative prayer meets modern psychology, built for real moments. Maybe it’s the hard conversation you keep replaying, the anxiety before a big event, the feeling you have when someone cuts you off in traffic or says something that hurts you. From big to small, we feel things all day every day. Some of them linger around until we acknowledge them and connect with our truth. Often, there’s a message for us in these experiences.
This application walks you through journaling about the feelings until you arrive at insight to carry into your life.

And a cool part of the application is you can save the insights that arise as an entry in your journal. Then go back and look for patterns over time!

If you’ve ever wished for a slower, more honest way to process what you’re carrying, I made this for you.

“How wild it was to let it be” is being lived out in full expression around here in the yard.
