Please don’t leave weights on the benches because it's a major safety hazard (tripping, rolling), damages equipment, obstructs others, and shows disrespect, creating hazards like a tipped bar or weights falling on someone; always re-rack plates and return dumbbells to their proper spot to keep the gym safe and functional for everyone.
We recently bought a new bench and had three benches recovered. Leaving weights on the bench damages the material and leads to tears. Please be respectful and rest the weights on the floor in between sets and re-rack weights after use.
