We are a full-service retail pharmacy that provides prescription medication, over the counter drugs, and a variety of specialty and locally made products. The owners, Jonathan and Kerri Snipes, are committed to creating a pharmacy experience that is personalized and unique without sacrificing efficiency. Jonathan, the pharmacist-in-charge, has been in pharmacy for 20 years, including 12 years with

a major retail chain and the last 8 years at a pharmacy down the road from the new store. He decided to open his own store so that he could ensure his patients' well-being is the first priority. Pinnacle Apothecary offers several ways to get your prescription to make it convenient for you. We would love for you to come in and shop or sit in the rocking chairs out front if you need to wait. If it is more convenient, there is curbside pick up available around back, so you can get your prescription from the comfort of your car. A third option we are happy to provide is free delivery within 5 miles of the pharmacy. In addition to prescriptions and over the counter drugs, Pinnacle Apothecary wants to showcase local products, from our locally handcrafted shelving to items we carry in store. We also have DIY gift baskets for all occasions, including:

* Get well baskets (including over the counter drug recommendations)
* Seasonal baskets
* Break up survival kits
* Date night in baskets

There's an assembly counter in the store for you to have it ready to go when you leave!

In the midst of all the chaos, don’t neglect your health! The return of cold weather means all those germs are back too. We have all you need to get well and stay well this fall, from cough and cold medicine to immune-boosting supplements to COVID, flu, and RSV vaccines. Come by our store in Candler and let us help you stay healthy!

We can also come to your house and administer them if that makes things easier! Just call us at (828)761-6244 and we can work out a time.

Although the last week has brought destruction and heartbreak that we’re only just beginning to see, we are encouraged by the outpouring of support and help we’ve seen and experienced, from neighbors and strangers alike!

We are back to normal hours now that we have power, so we will continue to be open Monday- Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

We know the need for medication is high but the days are short and full of so much work, so we are opening on Saturday this week from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You do NOT need to be an existing patient of ours. If you have your medicine bottles, please bring those with you. We will get you taken care of!

Our address is 1388 Sand Hill Rd, Ste 100, Candler, NC 28715. We are just down the road from Ingles in the same complex as the library and Griff’s Kitchen, beside AdventHealth.

You can call our phone at (828)761-6244. It’s currently routed through one of our cell phones, so if we don’t answer, leave a message or try to call back soon. We will get through this and we will do all we can to make it a little easier on you!

We are heartbroken to see the devastation Helene wrought on our community and the ones around us. We are doing all we can to help out during this time.

We will be open 10-4 until we get power back. We don’t have any cell signal or telephones at this time, so just come on by! You don’t need to be an existing customer of ours. Bring your medicine bottles and we will do all we can to at least get you sorted for few weeks.

In the early hours of Saturday morning around 5:17 AM, this person helped themselves to the bench outside of our pharmacy at 1388 Sand Hill Rd, Ste 100, Candler, NC.

If anyone recognizes who this is or the Volkswagen they crammed our bench into, please let us know!

We made this bench and carved our logo in both sides so we’re pretty attached to it! If the person who took it sees this, just do the right thing and return it.

We obviously love this bench, but seriously, why would you steal a bench that says “Pinnacle Apothecary” on the sides? The video will be in the comments! Thanks for any info or leads you guys can dig up!

We are continuing our free toy giveaway! We know this season can be difficult for many families. We’d love the chance to make it easier if we can!
