WE NEED TEAMS! ⛳💙
We’re almost a month away from Swinging FORE Autism Golf Tournament, and we need your help making this BIG!

This tournament is so personal to our family and inspired by our sweet boy Brody. Every team, sponsor, and share helps support autism awareness and local special needs programs right here in our community.

Grab your buddies, build a team, and come play for a purpose. Let’s make this an amazing day and an even bigger impact. 💙🧩

💙🧩 MISSION MONDAY 🧩💙

At Autism Awareness of Southeast Missouri, our mission is simple: listen, learn, and advocate for the needs of families in our community.

Every family faces challenges that aren’t always visible to others. Some are practical. Some are emotional. Some are things they’ve never had the opportunity to talk about.

Today, we’re listening.

Take a moment to look at the graphic and tell us:

💭 What is the biggest challenge your family faces right now?

📍 Please include your city or county if you’re comfortable sharing.

Your voice matters, and your feedback helps us better understand the needs of families throughout Southeast Missouri. 💙

How do you know 1+1=2, but NOT that you + toilet = poo?🤣

Parenting a child on the spectrum is a daily reminder that development doesn’t follow a straight line. My 5-year-old can do addition and subtraction, remembers things that happened months ago, and constantly amazes me with how smart she is. Yet we’re still working on potty training, and some days that means cleaning p**p off the floor instead of celebrating another milestone.

I often find myself looking at her and thinking, “How do you know 1+1=2, but NOT that you + toilet = poo?” Autism is full of these contradictions—remarkable strengths mixed with challenges that don’t always make sense to the outside world. Some days are hard, some days are hilarious, and some days are both at the same time. No matter what, I’m proud of my little girl and all the progress she makes on her own timeline. ❤️
