A lot of people think stroke recovery stops after 3 months…
or 6 months…
or a year.
That’s simply not true.
Yes, recovery may slow down over time for some people…
But the brain is capable of change for YEARS after a stroke.
We’ve seen people improve:
- walking
- balance
- hand function
- confidence
- endurance
- independence
long after they were told they had “plateaued.”
The problem is that many people stop getting the right guidance, progression, education, and consistency once formal therapy ends.
Recovery doesn’t stop just because insurance stops paying.
Your recovery journey is still active as long as you continue challenging the brain and body appropriately.
Small improvements over time can still lead to BIG changes in quality of life.
