💛 What a night. What a community. 💛

Thanks to all of you, RISE for LCHAD has raised more than $90,000 this year, and we anticipate donating at least $70,000 directly to Dr. Jerry Vockley to advance research and treatments for LCHAD.

But the impact is so much more. Over 170 people came together at the Golden Hour Gala—many learning about LCHAD for the first time. More awareness means more hope for every family affected by LCHAD. 🧬✨

To everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, bid, volunteered, contributed an item, or supported RISE: you made this beautiful night possible.

We had the incredible opportunity to visit Dr. Jerry Vockley at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he shared updates on his research, gave us a tour of his lab, and did a consult with Jillian.

While Jillian is doing well, our visit was also a big reminder of how unpredictable LCHAD can be and why research is so important.

We feel very lucky that we can provide some small support to Dr. Vockley’s work on gene therapy, improved medications, and new technology to help monitor LCHAD. His research gives families like ours hope for the future.

We’ll also be sharing an interview with Dr. Vockley at the Fueling Hope Gala and on our website soon.
