To be clear, this isn’t a shot at anybody using those tools. Some doctors use them well as their mission is different than mine. My conviction is about me.
Every time I’ve been tempted by one of those pitches, I’ve had to be honest about what I was really buying: a way to grow revenue without growing people’s understanding that health comes from within and doesn’t come from a machine. That’s the trade nobody names in the sales meeting. And once you make it, you tend to keep making it, because it’s easier to add another machine than to admit you plateaued in your communication of the principle.
I’m a first-generation chiropractor. Nobody handed me this. The only thing I’ve ever really had is the willingness to keep getting better, and I’m not trading that for a lease payment.
Do one thing. Do it all the way. Let it be enough.
💪🏻 What conviction do you hold that’s counter-cultural?
