Metrocrest Hospital Authority is proud to support the Farmers Branch Fire Department EMS Division with a recent investment in advanced emergency medical equipment.

Through this partnership, MHA provided funding for five state-of-the-art Ventis Hero Vent ventilators, helping equip EMS providers with innovative technology designed to support critical patient care in the field.

Farmers Branch Fire Department paramedics will complete hands-on training with the new equipment before it is deployed, enhancing their ability to provide lifesaving care when our community needs it most.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Farmers Branch Fire Department and invest in resources that strengthen emergency response and improve health outcomes across our community.

Through a partnership between Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District (CFBISD) and Children's Health, students have access to virtual pediatric care while at school. If a student becomes ill at school, the campus nurse can connect the student and parent—no matter where the parent is located—with a doctor or nurse practitioner via a secure video visit. This allows students to receive timely medical care, helping address their health needs as quickly as possible while minimizing time away from the classroom. Back-to-school season is here!

As students head back to the classroom, it's the perfect time for families to prioritize healthy habits that support learning and success all year long. From annual checkups and vaccinations to healthy meals, good sleep, and staying active, small steps can make a big difference in a child's well-being.

Metrocrest Hospital Authority is proud to support programs and partners that help keep our communities healthy, because healthy kids are better prepared to learn, grow, and thrive.

Wishing all students, teachers, and families a safe, healthy, and successful school year!

Our Community Partner, The Concilio, is built on a simple but powerful belief: the most important teacher in a child's life is not in a classroom, but found at home.

Behind every confident student is a parent who has the support to show up, speak up, and stay involved. That is the work The Concilio helps make possible.

Through their programs, families receive guidance and practical tools to take an active role in their children’s education from an early age. That early support not only strengthens learning, it also helps open doors to long-term economic mobility for the entire family.

Health challenges can affect more than just the body. They can also impact emotional well-being, stress levels, and overall mental health.

It is normal to feel overwhelmed at times, but support can make a real difference.

Our community partner The Bridge Breast Network reminds us that care is about more than treatment. Compassion, connection, and community are part of the healing process too.

Take a moment today to check in with yourself and those around you. Well-being looks different for everyone, and every step matters.

🚒 Look at what our community partners are doing in the community!

This is what community partnership looks like: organizations showing up, building relationships, and caring for our neighbors in ways big and small.

We’re proud to support partners who go above and beyond every day to make our communities stronger!

A quick water stop turned into an impromptu fire safety lesson—and a ride home—at Station 4!

These soon-to-be freshmen had been biking around in the Texas heat from 2–8 p.m. without anything to drink when they spotted our firefighters in the bay and stopped to ask for water. After rehydrating, they asked to learn about fire extinguishers, because apparently Station 4 is part water station, part classroom and part roadside assistance. 😄

One of the riders began feeling unwell from dehydration, so our crew made sure he got home safely. We’re glad they stopped when they did!

Good luck as you head into 9th grade next year, and remember: stay hydrated, wear your helmets, and keep asking great questions!
