I have always had a passion for physical defense-the world is scary, and protecting myself and my family has always been my focus. However, physical security isn't the only thing to defend against.
However, recent trends in products, food, and much more have become troubling. Chemicals/hormones added to what we eat, drink and wear-many of these known for affecting physical & emotional health.
There are environmental concerns too(animal testing, parabens/sulfates), and their long-term effects on our beautiful Earth. So, I began to invest more in our health and focused on living a healthy lifestyle(dieting, exercise, and even looking to make my own products). However, being a busy mom working full time, I found it difficult to get affordable ingredients, and didn't find it convenient.
