Many commercially produced tortilla chips begin with dry masa flour that is reconstituted with water. Ours begin with whole corn that we nixtamalize and grind into fresh masa. Most companies that produce tortilla chips choose the quicker, easier option. We like to keep things old school. It takes a bit more effort but this is what gives our chips that hand crafted, from scratch taste, that unmistakeable crunch, that complex flavor profile. We think it’s worth it 🤷‍♀️.

Trust the process 🙌. Crafted with care by loving hands . Organic corn is nixtamalized (an ancient Mesoamerican practice whereby corn 🌽 is soaked in an alkaline water solution with lime 🍋‍🟩 juice for 24 hours, thereby giving it that unmistakeable crunch, completed flavor profile, making the naturally occurring vitamins more bioavailable and more easily digestible. Then the corn is ground into fresh masa, made into fresh tortillas, hand cut, and cooked in 100 percent pure beef tallow. A labor of love 💕. The result? Absolutely delicious, craveably crunchable, perfectly seasoned tortilla chips 😋
