I have been practicing Holistic Health since 1994 starting out as a Massage Therapist. I received my Master's Degree in Counseling in 2006 and have had some Miraculous results treating the whole person, Body, Mind and Spirit since my graduation. I have found that Spiritually centered teachings help people the most and I am still formulating my new practice after I have had a massive change in Consciousness.

Many years ago, back when I was deep in my early mystical studies, I came across something that completely shifted how I understand what we call “mental illness.”

In a lot of indigenous traditions, it wasn’t seen as a disorder at all. It was understood as a loss of balance—between a person and their spirit, their community, and the natural world. So instead of isolating someone the way we often do today, they would draw them in closer. Surround them with ritual, with nature, with a sense of belonging.

In some cases, those experiences were even seen as a sign that someone was touched by spirit—and they were guided and trained to become healers, medicine people for their community.

It really makes you pause and wonder… what would healing look like if the goal wasn’t to fix you, but to help you reconnect? ✨🌿✨
