Saefkow Training Center provides high-quality CPR, AED, and First Aid training for individuals, families, and workplaces throughout Northeast Ohio. We offer American Heart Association and HSI-aligned courses, including:

• Babysitter Safety & Preparedness
• Healthcare & Community Certifications

Founded and led by Sarah Saefkow, RN, former EMT, our classes are taught with real-world experience from emergency, ICU, and pre-hospital care. Our goal is simple: build confidence, reduce fear, and prepare everyday people to act in emergencies. Classes are available for the community, private groups, schools, churches, and businesses. On-site training and flexible scheduling available.

15 more staff have been fully trained in HSI: Emergency Care Pediatric First Aid and CPR all ages using top-quality PRESTAN Products manikins (the “Robert family”, iykyk 🤣).

33 people trained. One workplace and multiple communities safer. ❤️‍🩹

We spent the day with 33 members of the Lake County Engineer’s Office for hands-on emergency response training!

Their training included:

❤️ CPR & AED (with our PRESTAN Products manikins!)
🩹 First Aid
🩸 Stop Life-Threatening Bleeding (HSI: Emergency Care)

Emergency situations don’t wait for someone else to arrive. Having trained people on-site who know how to recognize an emergency, start CPR, use an AED, provide first aid, and control life-threatening bleeding can make a critical difference.

We had a great time being part of the Health and Wellness Sampler Event in Chardon last weekend!

It was a great opportunity to connect with other local businesses and community members while sharing something we’re passionate about: helping people feel confident and prepared to respond in an emergency.

At the Saefkow Training Center table, we gave attendees the opportunity to see and practice how to use an AED and learn more about CPR, first aid, and emergency preparedness.

And it was especially fun having my daughter there with me! She was selling her very own Cutie Kits — mini first aid kits designed especially for kids. ❤️🩹

I love seeing safety education become a family affair and watching young entrepreneurs bring their own ideas to the community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, practiced with the AED, or simply said hello. And thank you to the organizers for putting together such a great local event!

There’s something special about training the people who pour so much into our community.

We recently had the opportunity to provide CPR and First Aid training for the staff at Inspired Movement dance studio in Chardon, and it was a great reminder that safety is an important part of creating a place where kids can learn, grow, and thrive.

From minor injuries and falls to a life-threatening emergency, their team is now better prepared to recognize an emergency, respond with confidence, and take action until help arrives.

I love seeing organizations like this make safety part of what they do. They’re not just teaching dance—they’re investing in the well-being of the children and families they serve.
