Disney is magical, but EPI does not take the day off! I’ve been going to Disney for years, and now that I have EPI I want to share what healthy food choices I found this trip. I’ll also cover Universal Studios and Epic Universe! Follow along!

My honest review of food for EPI at EPCOT- to be honest y’all, the choices are slim. Bring your own food! Disney doesn’t provide nutritional info, so be cautious. We didn’t make reservations, so check restaurant menus ahead of time if you do.

Try:
-California Grill by Soarin’ for healthier choices
-sushi in Japan
-pretzels in Germany.

Here’s what I ate in Epcot (I’m pretty fat tolerant with Creon):

-A few bites of pizza in Italy because pizza
- School Bread in Norway
-Frozen mint tea in Morocco

I didn’t want to risk anything else! I knew it would be a hard day so I packed myself snacks. Breakfast was an egg and bagel sandwich and dinner was a salad with grilled chicken at the resort.

My pharmacy couldn’t get Creon, but the more affordable OTC option ($40 for 90) uses gelatin caps that break down very quickly in the stomach. I had to use a lot more pills for the same effect as the more 💰💰brand ($95 for 90) that uses vegan caps that are a little more resistant to stomach acid.

I found some vegan caps on Amazon for $8 and “double bagged” the cheaper pills to make them more likely to make it to the small intestine where the enzymes need to be, and it worked great for me! LINK 🔗 to the caps in my bio! Bonus, they help mask the smell of the enzymes! 😷 *I am not a healthcare practitioner, do not change your PERT therapy without consulting a doctor*
