PREPARED, NOT PANICKED
September is National Preparedness Month, and at Black Elder Herbal Apothecary, we believe preparedness and faith belong together.
Being prepared does not mean living in fear.
It means using wisdom today so that if an emergency comes tomorrow, you are better positioned to care for yourself, your family, and even someone else.
Scripture tells us:
“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself…”
Proverbs 22:3
Throughout the Bible, we see God's people prepare.
Joseph prepared for famine.
Noah prepared before the rain came.
The wise virgins kept oil in their lamps.
They trusted God—and they acted with wisdom.
