Two words: I. DONT. Being a working mom is the equivalent of having two full time jobs because being a mom AT ALL is full time. I outsource like nobody’s business and when possible I would encourage you to do the same. Find the things that suck the life out of you, that are a time suck, or even a financial suck and ask yourself if there’s another way to get it done. Grocery shopping? I’m spending twice as much and it takes me too long. Take out food? I like cooking though, and it brings me joy so I keep that one. Dishes? Nope that’s all Ed and the kids. And bonus: OUTSOURCING TO YOUR SPOUSE AND CHILDREN IS FREE!!!!!

I got a comment the other day that truly didn’t sit right with me. Offering tips, things that help me - it’s not complaining. Let’s not DISMISS that societal norms and pressures for men versus women are simply different.

This is a what I do when I’m going to the pool or beach for more than … an hour or so? I LOVE all of the ColoreScience SPF makeup because it’s genuinely so pretty on. I should have put mascara on here but whatever. Also love a Big flowy fishing shirt because I get so hot in a tight rash guard. Just throw it on or off. The beach is not a fashion show at the resort pool. It’s survival mode. Good luck!
