My Why...

This video shares the deeply personal story behind my work at Vita Forte Integrative Medicine — and why I’m so passionate about helping women who feel unheard, dismissed, or told their symptoms are “just menopause.”

I watched my mother struggle with hot flashes, mood swings, exhaustion, brain fog, and anxiety. Symptoms that were brushed off as normal. Years later, I realized these were signs of a body asking for help. I often wonder how things might have been different with earlier intervention, hormone optimization, and brain‑health support. Her later battle with dementia changed the course of my life and my career.

Her experience is the reason I advocate so strongly for evidence‑based hormone therapy, root‑cause medicine, and individualized care — especially for women with complex histories, including those with a family history of breast cancer. Women deserve education, monitoring, and precision‑based support, not dismissal.
