The secret to losing weight for good…

➡️ What is Nutrition Periodization?
It’s the amount of time you spend in each “dieting” phase eating to support your goals using macros as a tool to build muscle, then reduce body fat all while finding balance along the way.

We have to prime our body to diet. You are not meant to consistently be dieting on low calories 365 days a year! You are meant to get in and get out quickly. 8-16 weeks is a typical” fat loss phase time frame, but can vary based on your lifestyle, goals & your biofeedback.

Example: This is why it ‘s important
While in a 16 week calorie deficit and lose 10-20 lbs🙌🏻🎉 but, now you’ve hit a plateau, aka you need a mental break from restricting calories for so long. Even tho… you still have fat to lose.
So why?! because your metabolism has adapted to what you feed it, when you feed it less it down regulates over time and you “burn less calories”. This is when we want your body to THRIVE and burn more calories. In order to do this you need to feed it more. We do this but jumping back up to maintenance. We will reverse diet you back up slowly to prevent weight gain.

➡️ ✨Restricting calories for a long period of time, can lead to hormone imbalances, fatigue, brain fog, loss of your cycle, poor sleep, and in return your workouts will feel like crap!
So… we eat more, which will allows you to thrive, all while improving your body composition but it will more importantly set you up for next successful cut/deficit phase.

✴️This is what we call Nutritional Periodization - a cycle of proper dieting phases that will benefit your metabolism long term.

Bananas make you fat. Too much fruit raises your insulin levels. Avoid starchy carbs or any fruits that are high on the glycemic index. NO way l’m touching carbs after 6pm.

Not true🤦‍♀️

➡️It’s a myth that all carbs are unhealthy. In fact, many of the healthiest foods are high in carbohydrates.

➡️None of the foods above will make you burn fat, BUT… Eating consistently in a calorie deficit will do that.

➡️These foods will NOT magically get you jacked, BUT… eating consistently in a calorie surplus combined with progressive overload lifting will do that💪🏼

BUT - what’s more important than building muscle or burning fat????

⬆️ALL these foods WILL jack your health

That said, you shouldn’t eat carbs in large amounts if you’re on a low carb diet. In addition, refined carbs, such as white bread and pasta, may be unhealthy in high amounts.
However, you can enjoy these nutritious, delicious carbs as part of a healthy, Whole foods diet.

Transform your excuses into reasons why you must succeed. Your goals are waiting for you on the other side of every excuse.

Settling is not an option when you’re capable of so much more. Break free from comfort zones, challenge yourself, and pursue the extraordinary.

Once we overcome our own doubts, fears, and excuses, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. Keep pushing forward and never let self-doubt hold you back!

If this is you, please stop the endless cycle of doing the SAME thing, when it comes to your nutrition and fitness. As we age so does our metabolism. You need to fuel yourself, the right way!

Remember, “You can’t outrun the effects of a poor diet” simply by exercising more. Regular physical activity and good dietary habits go hand in hand when it comes to your long-term health and longevity.
