I am slowly finding my way back and remembering a lesson I’ve taught for years: healing requires discipline.

With Saturn moving through Aries, I’m being reminded that progress cannot always be rushed. Aries wants to move, initiate, and accomplish. Saturn teaches patience, boundaries, responsibility, and the wisdom of honoring each season.

Herbalism teaches the same. Roots take time to establish. Seeds cannot be forced to grow overnight. Consistency, preparation, and respect for the process matter as much as knowledge.

Herbalism is not simply knowing which plants to use. It is the discipline to work with them responsibly, consistently, and respectfully.

I’m applying that wisdom to my own healing and to the careful return to full operations. The Herbal Mystic is rebuilding rhythm with intention, patience, and purpose to better serve and grow with my community.

Saturn in Aries reminds me that leadership is not only the courage to begin. It is the discipline to build something that lasts. 🔥🌿

Thank you for continuing to support me and so many beautiful ways!

Slowly finding my way back…

After a season that asked me to pause in ways I never expected, I’m grateful to be slowly returning to the shop as I continue to recover.

This experience has been teaching me something I’ve spent so much of my life giving to others: when to slow down, how to slow down, and that slowing down is not the same as stopping.

I’m deeply grateful for the patience, understanding, messages, love, and grace you’ve extended to me while I’ve been away. It has meant more than I can put into words. 🤎

So for now, I’m returning gently. One day, one hour, one step at a time. 🌱

Thank you for allowing me the space to heal while still holding a place for The Herbal Mystic in your hearts.

I’m looking forward to seeing you in the shop again. ✨

With gratitude,
Alecia | The Herbal Mystic

The Herbal Mystic physical location will be temporarily closed as I take some time for personal healing and focus on important shop updates behind the scenes.

This brief pause is an opportunity for me to rest, restore, and make improvements that will help me continue serving you and our community in the best way possible.

During this time:

🌱 Pickup orders will be temporarily paused.

🌱 Shipped orders will continue to be fulfilled and sent out as usual.

🌱 Email subscribers will still receive amazing updates, herbal wisdom, seasonal insights, and other educational content throughout this period.

I deeply appreciate your understanding as I navigate this season of healing and renewal. Your support, patience, and trust mean more than words can express, and I am incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful community surrounding The Herbal Mystic.

With gratitude and blessings,

Alecia R. Ross / Your Herbal Mystic

A Daily Cup Rooted in Tradition

For centuries, **hibiscus tea** has been enjoyed in traditional herbal practices as a delicious way to support overall wellness. Rich in naturally occurring antioxidants, this vibrant herbal infusion has long been valued for its role in supporting a healthy cardiovascular system.

❤️ Traditionally used to support healthy cardiovascular function.
🌿 Traditionally used to help maintain already healthy blood pressure levels.
đź’§ Supports healthy hydration and circulation.
🍵 Naturally caffeine-free, making it a wonderful addition to your daily wellness routine.

**Wellness Tip:**
Enjoy 1 to 2 cups daily as part of a healthy lifestyle that includes nourishing foods, regular movement, quality sleep, and stress management.

**Before You Brew**
While hibiscus tea is enjoyed safely by many people, it may not be appropriate for everyone.

• Because hibiscus may help support healthy blood pressure, those taking **blood pressure medications** or who naturally have **low blood pressure** should speak with their healthcare provider or a qualified herbal professional before adding hibiscus to your daily routine.
• Individuals taking **diabetes medications** should monitor their blood sugar closely, as hibiscus may have blood sugar-supportive effects.
• If you are **pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding**, consult your healthcare provider before use.
• If you take prescription medications or have a chronic medical condition, check with your healthcare provider or a qualified herbal professional before adding hibiscus to your daily routine.

🌺 Nature has long offered beautiful traditions for wellness. Let every cup be part of a balanced lifestyle and a mindful self-care practice.

want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the love, patience, understanding, prayers, and support that have been extended to me and my family during one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. Your kindness has meant more than words can adequately express.

As I continue navigating this new chapter, there may be occasional adjustments to business hours, response times, and availability over the coming months. I appreciate your grace and understanding as I balance personal healing with my commitment to serving this community.

The Herbal Mystic has always been rooted in healing, resilience, and the power of community, and I am incredibly thankful to be surrounded by people who embody those values.

I also give thanks to my ancestors for their guidance, strength, protection, and unwavering presence. Their wisdom continues to carry me forward, and I remain steadfast in my faith that justice will prevail.

Thank you for standing with me, supporting my business, and allowing me the space to move through this journey with dignity and grace.

Found our Burdock Root growing taller than me! It’s late spring so it’s time to harvest the roots.

Often overlooked as a roadside w**d, burdock has been used for generations in traditional herbalism to support the body’s natural detoxification pathways, especially the liver, lymphatic system, and skin. Its deep roots pull nutrients from the earth, making it rich in minerals and valued in holistic wellness practices.

Traditionally, burdock root has been used to support:
• Skin health
• Digestion
• Inflammation support
• Blood sugar balance
• Gentle cleansing and nourishment

Nature really does provide medicine all around us, if we slow down enough to recognize it. -Your Herbal Mystic

Mystic’s Community Appreciation Day is being rescheduled!
As much as I was looking forward to gathering with you, this season of growth has asked me to pause, realign, and pour even more intention into what I’m creating. Sometimes, a moment to regroup is exactly what’s needed to honor the expansion happening behind the scenes.
A new date will be announced soon, and trust, it will be worth the wait ✨
To my beautiful community: thank you. Your support, your presence, your belief in this journey has helped The Herbal Mystic grow in ways that feel both humbling and powerful. This isn’t just a business, it ia a living, breathing space because of you.
I appreciate you deeply, and I can’t wait to celebrate together.

Sometimes all you need is just yourself. Remove the distractions and the noise.

Not everything that feels peaceful is right for me.
Not every “yes” brings me closer to who I’m becoming.

I honor the truth within me, even when it disrupts,
even when it stretches me,
even when it asks me to stand alone.

Because alignment isn’t about keeping the peace…
it’s about keeping my soul intact.

Today, I choose what feels real over what feels comfortable.
I choose truth over approval.
I choose me.
