Charlotte-based moms of pr***en to early teen girls aged 8-13 who need help with the “puberty talk”? We can help with Girlhood-Charlotte!

Girlhood Charlotte is an at-home puberty education program founded by pediatric medical professionals. Led by board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Diep Nguyen and post-partum nurse, Mary Queen, RN, we teach the science and biology of puberty in the format of a “party” . We bring the educational experience for moms and daughters right to your living rooms. By learning (and celebrating) alongside friends and their moms about the why, how and what that happens in puberty, both parties can discuss a topic that is normally hard to navigate in a fun and approachable environment. Through our classes, girls go from being nervous and scared to being more confident and prepared. With moms in attendance, girls foster a deeper connection of understanding that allow for continued conversations at home. We have witnessed the transformations ourselves!

And one additional bit of news!!! We launched earlier this year, Womanhood Charlotte (WHC), a class for us moms too!! WHC is a menopause class led by medical experts, Dr. Astrid Jain & Anna Wilkes Smith, RN.

We have a new program, Womanhood Charlotte, designed for women by women in medicine! Womanhood Charlotte is our “big sister” program. Womanhood brings menopause education to your living room led by medical experts, Dr. Astrid Jain and registered nurse, Anna Smith. www.womanhoodcharlotte.com!

Along with Womanhood, we are united as an umbrella organization called Sisterhood Charlotte www.sisterhoodcharlotte.com. Sisterhood Charlotte will also feature local women-owned businesses. As “sisters”, we share a passion to empower girls and women within our community! Check them out too!

Sisterhood Charlotte provides comprehensive puberty and menopause education, empowering women and nurturing girls through trusted health education.

GH-C hosted an interactive and fun puberty class of rising 6th graders on the Sunday of their first weekend of out of school! That’s called a Sunday Funday!

We are so thankful for the moms and daughters we encounter during our classes. We always leave with a full heart knowing these girls feel more ready for puberty and they have a new understanding that puberty is a NORMAL part of growing up🩷. Girlhood-Charlotte teamed up with our newest
partners, Womanhood-Charlotte, at the JCC Women’s Health Fair on Sunday! Womanhood-Charlotte is led by menopause experts, Dr. Astrid Jain (Ob/Gyn) and Anna Smith, RN.

We believe that informed women are powerful women. Girlhood and Womanhood Charlotte create trusted spaces where girls and women connect and learn through science-based education and intimate conversations with healthcare professionals.
