🌿 My Go-To Morning Routine for Faster Fat Loss as a 49 yr old (even on vacation 😆) + 2 extra!
I didn’t need another restart. I needed a reset of my habits!
In my mid-late 40s, I was doing everything that used to work…
and my body just stopped responding.
More tired.
More frustrated.
Starting over again and again. Perimenopause changed the rules and no one warns you.
This isn’t about pushing harder or restricting more.
It’s about working with your body again, especially your cortisol.
Even here on vacation, I’m keeping it simple… and it’s everything 👇
1️⃣ Hydrate first thing (lemon + sea salt water) 🍋💦🧂
Balances blood sugar, supports digestion, hydration, keeps morning cortisol steady… and yes, helps you 💩
2️⃣ High-protein, GLP-1–friendly breakfast
No skipping. (eggs, guac, veggies, fruit + a healthy carb.)
Keeps cortisol steady + energy up.
⭐️ Comment PROTEIN for my fave easy high-protein breakfasts.
3️⃣ Skip refined carbs early
Fewer sugar spikes = calmer cortisol = better fat burning.

4️⃣ Morning movement + ☀️
Even 20 minutes of walking (yes, even on vacation) helps calm cortisol, reset your rhythm + activate metabolism hormones.
⭐️ Comment MOVE to try a fave workout
5️⃣ Matcha > coffee 🍵
Steady energy, antioxidants, better focus—without the cortisol spike.
⭐️ Comment MATCHA for my fave (I travel with mine)
6️⃣ Hormone-supportive hydration before caffeine
Minerals + electrolytes to support adrenals, reduce inflammation + gently detox.
My daily hormone reset- yup, it’s travel friendly too.
⭐️ Comment RESET for exactly what I use.
7️⃣ Dry brushing (AM or PM)
Sounds wacko but works wonders to supporting cortisol balance, lymphatic drainage, circulation + puffiness.
✨ Extra love: red light therapy, sauna + deep breathing = huge to calm cortisol + boost metabolism (even just slowing down on vacation counts)
