Started the day bright and early as a vendor at the Bradley County Farmer’s Market and ended it browsing with a few of my kiddos at the Night Market! Met so many amazing people and had the *best* lemonade I’ve *ever* had from Kiki's Lemonade Company LLC (like seriously so good even the people at home had to have some) and enjoyed meeting White Dragon Oracle in person! It’s been a full but amazing day and now I’m whipped 😂

✨ Introducing Heart & Healing ✨

One of the newest additions to The Impertinent Woman is making its debut tomorrow at the Bradley County Farmers Market.

Crafted with soothing mineral salts, mineral-rich pink Himalayan salt, delicate rose petals, and jojoba oil, Heart & Healing was created as a reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, and make space for yourself. Whether you’ve had a long week, a hard season, or simply need a moment of peace, this blend is meant to turn an ordinary bath into a small act of self-care.

I’ll be at the market from 7 AM–Noon with this new blend, my handcrafted teas, ritual oils, and more.

Come say hello, support local vendors, and see what’s new. 💜

✨ Big News from The Impertinent Woman ✨

I’m excited to let you know that The Impertinent Woman has been accepted as a vendor for the 2026 season at the Bradley County Farmers Market!

Starting this Saturday, you’ll find me there every Saturday from 7:00 AM – Noon with handcrafted teas, ritual oils, bath salts, and all the other beautifully impertinent things I’ve been creating.

As a small business owner, there’s something special about being part of a community that values local makers, growers, and dreamers. I attended the vendor meeting this evening and had the chance to meet some incredible farmers and fellow vendors. The passion, knowledge, and hard work in that space was inspiring, and I’m so honored to be part of it.

So if you’ve been wanting to smell the blends, sample the teas, ask questions, or simply say hello, come see me on Saturday mornings. And while you’re there, be sure to support the amazing local farmers and vendors who make this market such a special place. 💜

Can’t wait to see you there! ✨

✨Hot take✨

You can align your chakras, drink herbal tea, carry crystals, journal under the moon, and own seventeen different nervous system workbooks…

But if you’ve been putting off your screenings for three years because you’re “too busy,” your wellness routine may have a plot hole.

Anyway.

Got the tatas looked at today.

Because around here we believe in energy work and letting trained professionals investigate suspicious nonsense.

Balance. ✨

Apparently we’re supposed to hustle until we collapse.

I disagree.

So I’m over here blending Dream Time instead. 🌙🌿

For the exhausted, the overwhelmed, the caregivers, the night owls, and anyone whose mind refuses to stop spinning at bedtime.

Because everyone deserves the time to rest. 💜

Three teas. Three ways to soothe and heal. I made these blends for days I couldn’t go on myself. They were made for real life, real people.

Sun Kissed Aura

Someone recently mocked the hashtag and asked, “What does that even mean? You’re not special.”

Fair question.

I’m not special.

A medical mom is just a mom who can tell you which pharmacy has a medication on backorder, which specialist has the shortest wait list, which symptoms require an ER trip, and which ones can wait until morning.

A medical mom knows the difference between “tired” and “something is wrong.”

A medical mom carries enough paperwork to qualify as a small government agency.

A medical mom can discuss feeding tubes, oxygen saturation, seizure protocols, medication interactions, insurance denials, and reaction protocols before finishing her first cup of tea.

We’re not special.

We’re just the moms who got handed a parenting manual that accidentally included a nursing degree, a case management position, and a part-time emergency response job.

The hashtag isn’t about being more important than other parents.

It’s about finding other people who understand why your purse contains medication, medical records, snacks, backup snacks, and at least one thing covered in adhesive from a hospital visit.

If doesn’t apply to you, that’s okay.

I don’t know much about welding either, but I manage to get through the day without being offended that welders have a hashtag.

Not every experience needs your personal familiarity to be valid.

Some of us are simply living lives you’ve never had to imagine. 💜

For me, the full moon release isn’t about becoming a new person.

It’s about setting down a few things I was never meant to carry forever.

One thought. One fear. One burden at a time. 💜🌕

Apparently, despite my repeated attempts to survive on caffeine, determination, and pure spite, the body continues to request actual nutrients.

Rude.

So today’s act of rebellion against burnout is fresh peaches and strawberries.

Not because they’re magical.
Not because they’re going to transform me into a woodland goddess by sunset.

Because my body does a lot for me, and every now and then it deserves something that came from the ground instead of a drive-thru window.

Renewal isn’t usually a dramatic before-and-after moment.

More often it’s a collection of tiny decisions that say:

“Hey. I live here too, and I’d like to take care of this place.”

Even if that place occasionally runs on chaos and forgotten tea cups. 😏
