As we say goodbye to May, the sky offers us something rare and beautiful, a Blue Moon 💙🌕✨ Blue Moon happens when we experience two full moons within one month, something that only occurs every few years. It reminds us that even in cycles we think we understand, life still finds ways to surprise us with wonder. This blue moon may seem distant, hanging quietly above us, but its presence is deeply felt, pulling the tides, lighting the darkness, and inviting us to pause long enough to look up.

Favorite 😍 Pose of the Week: Plank Pose with Knee-to-Elbow (Phalakasana)

Start in Downward Facing Dog Pose, lean your body forward, step your feet backwards, engage your core, and lower your pelvis, coming into Plank Pose. Palms below the shoulders, hips parallel to the earth. Inhale, raise your right leg, exhale draw your right knee toward your right elbow, rounding slightly through the spine and activating your center. Inhale, reach your right leg up and back to center. Exhale, knee to elbow. Repeat this flowing movement 5 times with your own breath. After your final round, place your right foot back to the earth and repeat on the left side. See you in class ☺️🧘‍♀️

Favorite 😍 Pose of the Week: Cat 🐈‍⬛ Pulling Its Tail Pose

Begin lying on your back with both legs extended. Roll onto your left side and bend your left knee behind you, bringing your heel toward your bum. With your right hand, reach back and grab your left big toe behind you. Wiggle your left shoulder slightly forward and gently encourage both shoulders toward the earth to deepen the spinal twist. For an even deeper stretch, extend your right leg out in front of you and reach your left hand to hold your right foot. (You can always use a strap) Gaze skyward and hold the pose for a few gentle breaths.To release, bring your knees into your chest, extend your legs long to return onto your back, and when you’re ready, try the pose on the other side. See you in class 😊🧘‍♀️

May is a whole month of Expression

Mantra 🕉️ for this week is: I trust and express my voice

A natural unfolding of everything you’ve built, this month is about allowing what you’ve cultivated to move outward, be seen, and be felt. Not forced, not performed, just honestly expressed.

Finding Your Voice

Expression is not only physical, it is energetic and emotional as well. This week invites awareness of how we communicate, both on and off the mat. Through breath and presence, we begin to connect with our inner voice. When we trust that voice, expression becomes clear, steady, and true.

Favorite 😍 Pose of the Week: Greeting the Earth 🌎(Bhunamanasana)

Start in Staff Pose, sitting with your legs straight out in front of you. Inhale and raise your arms up. As you exhale, twist your torso to the right, placing both hands on the earth beside your right hip. On your next exhale, bend your arms, lower your chest to the earth(or as low as comfortable), keeping your sits bones grounded on the earth. Hold here for a few breaths (3-6 breaths). Inhale, lift your torso up, and return to the center. Repeat on the opposite side. See you in class ☺️🧘‍♀️

✨Sometimes the deepest groundings come when we’re willing to bow a little closer to our earth 🌎 ✨
