A Kidney for Mila

A Kidney for Mila Mila is a devoted wife, loving mother, and a fighter. At just 42, she’s battling end-stage kidney failure. Her only hope is a kidney transplant. Yes to giving.

This page is dedicated to sharing her journey, raising awareness about living kidney donation From the depths of my heart — thank you for taking a moment to read my story. I am still here — fighting through relentless exhaustion, hospital stays, and endless dialysis sessions just to stay alive. Each day is a struggle, not just physically, but emotionally. There are days when I can barely stand, bu

t I rise anyway — for my daughter, for my husband, and for the life we once knew. My strength is fading… but my hope is not. Because I believe — with all that I have — that someone out there will say yes. Yes to sharing life. Yes to being our miracle.

Friends, family, and anyone whose heart this reaches — we need your help. 🙏
Last March, our world changed forever. My wife, Lakshmila ("Mila") , was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure. She's 42. A devoted mother to our 6-year-old daughter — the little miracle we waited 12 years for. The heart of our home here in Chester County, PA.
Since her diagnosis, Mila has been living through relentless dialysis sessions, hospital stays, and exhaustion most people can't imagine. She fights every single day — for our daughter, for me, for the life we built together. But dialysis isn't a cure. A living-donor kidney transplant is her best hope for a longer, healthier life.
We are searching for a living kidney donor with O Positive (O+) blood type.
If you are generally healthy, between the ages of 21 and 70, and feel even a small pull to learn more — please consider getting screened. There is no obligation, no cost to you, and the conversation is completely confidential.
👉 Learn more or start the donor screening here: https://nkr.org/WGU856
Living donors are protected. Through the National Kidney Registry, donors receive:
Lost wage reimbursement
Travel, lodging, and dependent/pet care reimbursement
Kidney prioritization (if you ever need one in the future)

You will not be financially burdened for saying yes.
Even if donating isn't right for you — please share this post. One share could reach the person who saves Mila's life. One conversation could be the miracle our family has been praying for.
Thank you, with all of our hearts. 💙

Please share — my wife’s life depends on it. 💔 please read more by clicking the link https://nkr.org/WGU856
We humbly request your prayers and support. Mila is 42 — the love of my life, the mother of our miracle daughter, and the bravest fighter I know. We waited 12 years for our little girl… now 6 years old, full of joy, and needing her mommy.
In March 2025, our world shattered. Mila was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure. Now, every day is a battle of hospital visits, dialysis, and holding on to hope. I see her strength fading, but her faith never wavers.
Her only chance is a kidney transplant.
Organ donation can save lives — my wife’s life is one of them.
If you can, please consider being a living donor — or simply share this post.
Your act of love could be the miracle we’ve been praying for.
🙏 From my heart, thank you and God Bless you.
