Shoutout to our AMSN Chicago Chapter members, Emily & Mica (both CMSRNs!), who attended the professional networking/development fairs in their respective workplaces — May 7th @ Northwestern Memorial Hospital and May 14th @ Rush University Medical Center. We were also so grateful to have staff from MSNCB join us to encourage CMSRN/CAVRN certification and answer any questions people had. Thank you Kirk Terry, Director of Certification Services, and Veronica Wilson, Operations Sr. Associate, for your support & presence! 😄

Thank you to everyone who attended and celebrated with us! We were honored to have Dr. Yoder speak about the history of nursing and to officially open the Lost Art of Nursing exhibit which has found its home at the International Museum of Surgical Sciences. If you have not visited yet, it it free for nurses during the month of May!

Also, special thanks to IMSS staff, Jacinta Warnie for our delicious spread, harpist Janelle Lake for our beautiful music and Shema Latiker for the relaxing hand massages✨

The countdown is on! We are delighted to invite you to celebrate Nurses Day with us at the International Museum of Surgical Science for a special evening honoring the Lost Art of Nursing.
This meaningful celebration will feature the soft opening of the Lost Art of Nursing exhibit, curated by our very own Melodie Chenevert, whose work beautifully preserves and elevates nursing history. The evening will also include inspiration from a surprise guest speaker, a world‑renowned nurse, making this a truly memorable night of reflection, history, and connection.
