There's comfort to be found in unprecedented times. I know most people are sick of that phrase, but to me, it holds this fascinating unlimited potential.
"Unprecedented." No precedent has been set for how to handle these times. That means all the BS societal programming we've been subjected to is, by admission of the System, expired.
My questions for navigating life have changed. I no longer ask questions like,
🔹Which advanced degree shall I spend several years of my life pursuing?
🔹Which path to so-called stable employment shall I plunge myself even further into debt for?
Sometimes I really think that education can be a form of procrastination and avoidance. As young people, we were taught to ask questions like,
🔹What's missing in my life?
🔹What do I still not know?
🔹What flavor of outside validation do I need to attain before I count as valuable?
The game has changed. In these unprecedented times during which it seems a bit pointless to plan for a future more than a few weeks or maybe months away, my questions are more like these: 🔹How can I find value in who I am right now?
🔹How can I build a business and support myself, right now?
🔹How can I share my value lovingly with the world, right now?
🔹How can I use my talents and wisdom to help others undergo meaningful transformations, Right Now?"
Honestly, I much prefer this approach to life. It's in line with the truth: that we don't really have control over as much as we had thought. It's clear now that the wisest moves are to surrender to the flow of life, to keep ourselves on a frequency that picks up opportunities to expand Right Now.
No more waiting. You're worthy Now.
