Thank you .friends.studios for offering us space to work on the Monarch!
Join us December 6th from 1-5pm as we continue to assemble butterflies and connect them together 😍💕
Each butterfly represents one Migrant in our community! We are currently over 1,000 butterflies!!
Thank you to everyone that has participated in this project 🧡 I can’t wait to see it completed 😍
I’ll have yarn, crochet hooks and scissors available if anyone needs them 🫶🏽🧡🦋

Last night was my Papel Picado class at Toman Library, we were a small group but our time was filled with laughter and joy! I want to thank my students that were able to attend as well as their parents for bringing them 🫶🏽
I also want to highlight the distress our community is in. People are scared to come to the library, scared to go to work or to leave their home. I pray this time is over soon. That we can once again walk safely and freely in our own communities without fear of 🧊.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of being invited to City Hall to meet the Mayor, and be honored for my art and community engagement.

God has brought me so far in my life… Can I be vulnerable with ya’ll for a moment? When I was a child, I never thought I would survive. I thought the health issuses I had and environments I was in would equate to a short life span. God made a way for me: he put people in my path that would lead me to Him. People that were kind and loving. People that built me up and spoke life over me. He blessed me with my husband and my children and an incredible support network of neighbors, family, and friends.

I am honored to serve my community and my city.
Thank you for your encouragement and kindness! You have been such a blessing to me and my family 🙏🏽

I am excited to announce my acceptance into Class of 2026 cohort. I look forward to getting to know my CLF colleagues and alums who build bridges in all of our communities 💕
I am so excited to see where Busy Bees will be during and after this program! I am ready to learn all that I can to bring it back to LV and serve my community with more knowledge and deeper understanding of the work it takes to build a community.
