Wentworth Rehabilitation and Health Care Center also offers specialized post-acute rehabilitation programs – OrthopedicPro™, CardioPro™, PulmonaryPro™ and NeuroStrokePro™. We offer everything and more to get you back on your feet – and home – as quickly and safely as possible. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this event such a success! We enjoyed an afternoon filled with delicious BBQ, music, games, prizes, and plenty of fun as we celebrated the upcoming school year!

A special thank-you to everyone who helped provide school supplies and backpacks to local students. Your generosity helps our young people start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and supported!

From friendly competition on the bays to plenty of laughs in between, it was the perfect way to bring our teams together and celebrate the incredible leadership across our organization.

We loved seeing everyone connect, unwind, and enjoy a well-deserved day of fun.

We kicked things off by celebrating freedom, unity, and culture in honor of Juneteenth, and wrapped up the weekend by recognizing the incredible fathers in our community who have made a lasting impact on so many lives. 👔❤️💚🖤

The Alden Avengers took on another race! 🏃‍♀️💙

Our team had a fantastic time participating in the annual ABC 7 Gibbons 5K Run/3K Walk, an event we proudly support each year. It’s always an incredible experience coming together to raise awareness and show our support for such an important cause.

We’re honored to represent the Davidson-Brin chapter of the Leukemia Research Foundation and to be part of a community dedicated to making a difference.

Skilled Nursing Care Week Spotlight! 💙

This week, we’ve been celebrating Skilled Nursing Care Week by honoring the people who make our community so special.

Meet Florence “Flo,” our Dietary Supervisor at Wentworth! With 43 years of service, Flo’s journey began at just 17 years old when she started volunteering in the dietary department while in high school. Growing up in a home where cooking was encouraged, she developed a lifelong passion for preparing meals with care and purpose.

Flo takes pride in not only the food she helps provide, but in the way it impacts residents’ daily lives. She encourages her team to remember that every plate served is more than a meal—it’s care for a person who calls this home. She shares, “I love the residents. This is their home. You have to be passionate about what you’re doing and in it for the right reasons. You’re helping human beings who are depending on you.”

For Flo, longevity in her role comes down to heart. As she puts it, “At the end of the day, you have to love it to be here this long.”

Her passion, leadership, and dedication to both residents and staff make a lasting impact every day. We are so grateful for everything she brings to Wentworth. 💛

Skilled Nursing Care Week Spotlight! 💙

We’ve had a fun week celebrating Skilled Nursing Care Week with games, activities, and themes that highlight the beauty of the staff and residents who make our facility so special.

Meet Rosetta, a CNA at Wentworth! With 44 years of dedication to nursing, Rosetta describes her work as more than a job—it’s her calling. She believes in truly getting to know her residents and says she has learned just as much from them as she has provided in care.

For Rosetta, the most meaningful moments come from seeing residents regain hope and reach their goals. She shares, “The biggest reward is seeing someone come in who has given up hope and watching them get to a better place, meet their goals, and go home. Seeing that smile on their face means everything.”

She adds, “You have to love what you do in order to render good care. Your heart has to be in it. Be patient and kind.”

Her compassion, wisdom, and dedication embody the heart of skilled nursing care, and we are so grateful for all she does. 💛
