We're proud to share that a collaborative project led by Sinai Community Institute (SCI), with Sinai Urban Health Institute (SUHI) as a key partner, has been selected for funding through the Resilient Chicago Fund's $5.5 million grant initiative supporting 17 nonprofit-led projects in designing, testing, and refining innovative solutions that strengthen access to essential services across Chicago and Cook County.

Sinai Chicago, along with community partners from the One Lawndale Community Health Collective, will lead "Integrating Digital Tools to Strengthen a Community Health Worker Care Coordination Collective," creating a coordinated, technology-enabled system that helps residents connect to healthcare, food, housing, and other essential services.

The collaborative effort advances Sinai Chicago's commitment to improving care coordination and building healthier communities.

Sinai Chicago was wonderfully represented by a team of enthusiastic and generous spirited volunteer caregivers at a huge Marquette Park event on Saturday. 32 caregivers volunteered as we joined our strong community partner, Greter Southwest Development Corporation to make this event a great success.

Special thanks to Sonia Vazquez and Karen Montiel for organizing caregiver turnout.

The event was a great example of wonderful teamwork!
