Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Lord, help me put on the full armor of God today, equipping myself for the battles I face that I cannot fight in my own strength.

I'm up against more than I can see, spiritual forces that want to steal my peace, distort truth, and pull me away from You, and I need Your protection.

Teach me to take this seriously, to recognize that I'm in a real fight and that showing up unprepared leaves me vulnerable to attacks I'm not ready for.

I confess I often try to face spiritual battles with human solutions, forgetting that my real enemy isn't flesh and blood but the schemes designed to destroy my faith.

Help me put on the belt of truth so I can discern lies, the breastplate of righteousness to guard my heart, the shoes of peace to stand firm, the shield of faith to extinguish every flaming arrow of doubt and fear.

Remind me to take up the helmet of salvation to protect my mind and the sword of the Spirit to fight back with Your Word, and to pray constantly, staying connected to You in every moment.

Give me the discipline to armor up each day before I step into battle, to be alert and ready, to stand my ground when the enemy attacks instead of being caught off guard.

Let me walk in confidence knowing that the armor You provide is sufficient, that I'm not fighting for victory but from victory, and that in You I have everything I need to stand firm.

Amen.

Madeline gave this flower to her pepaw- (in three months it will be a year), the blooms are more beautiful in person than on this picture! Did you know you should not water these plants from the top it will rot the leaves causing mold , but let the plant absorb what it needs from the bottom.. (per Madeline) and it sets on a sunny shelf in the bathroom. All the elements have came together to make a beautiful growing plant! Just like the plant we too as humans with all the right elements can grow, learn and bloom beautifully. Stop, smell and admire the flowers it's worth it!
