THE 2026 WALK & ROLL REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY OPEN!

Early bird registration will be open through July 31st, and we’re gearing up for our biggest year yet! This fall marks 5 years in Northeast Ohio on September 19th and “26 on the 26th” in Cincinnati on September 26th — two amazing communities united by one powerful mission!
While Quarter Raffles won’t be offered this year, each Walk & Roll will feature 20+ themed baskets ($5 each or 6 for $25), plus the return of:

Board Spotlight on Judy Albert — A Legacy of Love and Leadership!

More than 40 years ago, Judy Albert and husband, David joined SBC shortly after welcoming their son, Tim. Since then, Judy has become one of the most dedicated and influential members of our community.

She has served as a Board Member at Large many times throughout the years, keeps our organization strong as the SBC Bookkeeper, and—together with Dave—launched the Walk & Roll 26 years ago, helping it grow into the beloved event it is today.

Judy enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, and while her six-year term on the board concludes in June, her legacy will continue to inspire us. And don’t worry — you’ll still see Judy at SBC events, cheering on the community she has helped build.

Thank you, Judy, for your decades of service, your leadership, and your heart. SBC is better because of you.

The Greater Cincinnati Radio Control Club—one of SBC’s longest and most valued partners for over 34 years—invites you to two days of high‑energy flying and family fun featuring 175+ model aircraft of all kinds.

• A recreation of the Blue Angels’ four‑ship F/A‑18C Hornet formation flown on 90mm EDF jets

Food Booth
Hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, chips, soda, water, Gatorade… plus the ice cream truck!

Honoring 50 Years of Youth Challenge – Westlake

On Saturday, April 25th, SBC was proud to join the celebration at The Madison Event Venue in Cleveland as Youth Challenge marked 50 years of service, leadership, and community impact.

Our board members — Irene Dietz, M.D., Talisa Miles, LSW, Hillary Mettler, and Melanie Dresch, Esq. — along with their guests, enjoyed an evening filled with joy, reflection, and appreciation for the incredible work Youth Challenge continues to do.

We are grateful for our long-standing partnership and the shared commitment to supporting individuals and families in our community.
