🦉 Life is a Hoot at Regency Oaks! 🦉
Did you know that our lush, beautiful grounds are home to a incredible variety of local birds? Around here, bird watching is one of our favorite pastimes, and there’s always something special fluttering through the trees! 📸✨
On October 1st, our residents gathered in Town Hall for a fantastic seminar featuring guest speaker Mary Jo Wisniewski! Mary Jo who adopted a nature photography hobby when she retired many years ago from a career in healthcare & education presented an incredible, highly detailed photo presentation following a Great Horned Owl nest in the nearby Highland Lakes neighborhood. From nest incubation to watching the chicks grow and explore, her presentation was both captivating and educational!
We had an amazing turnout and loved seeing so many passionate bird lovers come together to celebrate our local wildlife. Thank you to Mary Jo for sharing her time, knowledge, and gorgeous photography with us! 👏🦉

🕵️‍♂️✨ A Roaring Twenties Mystery Came to Life at Regency Oaks! ✨

On October 9 and 10, 2026, the Regency Oaks Town Hall transformed into a 1920s speakeasy for our Speakeasy Murder Mystery Dinner Theater!
Residents and guests stepped back into the Jazz Age for an evening packed with glamour, suspense, live music, dancing, and intrigue. From gangsters and detectives to reporters and nightclub personalities, our cast, dancers, singers, and volunteers put on a performance that had everyone engaged from start to finish. A huge thank you to everyone in the Regency Oaks community whose hard work, talent, and enthusiasm made this unforgettable weekend possible! 🎭🍽️

Nutrition, one of the four pillars of LCS Life+, is about making small intentional food choices that support brain health and overall well-being.
For the LCS week of Wellness and Well-being, were featuring brain-healthy menu items inspired by the MIND diet, a research-backed apporach to eating that supports congnitive wellness and overall health.

Residents got to attend a seminar led by longtime resident Mary Ellen going over the MIND diet & residents got to take a sneak peak into Executive chef todds ways with a cooking demo with a delicious sample of his hummus recipe.

Whether through shared travel and adventure experiences, book discussions and lifelong learning oppertunites, or volunterring and giving back, LCS Life+ is designed to connect residents to themselves, others, and the world around them.

Today residents got to "Connect" and enjoy community and a chance to get the blood pumping with the ever so loved B FIT fitness class with coach Barbara and then followed by a yummy yogurt and berry bar in Town Hall Lobby, where residents could relax and chat.

Movement, one of the four pillars of LCS Life+, is about helping our residents maintain strength, balance, flexibility, and confidence to continue doing the things they enjoy most. Every movement journey is unique. LCS Life+ empowers residents to enhance and sustain mobility through dynamic wellness experiences such as tai chi, cardio drumming, and Zumba.

Residents got to participate in balance assessments, Fall Risk assessments in our Fitness center accompanied by a Bone Health Station with samples of high protein cheese and nuts snack trays.

🎉 Exciting News from Regency Oaks! 🎉
We officially kicked off our brand-new Life+ wellness program, and the energy in our community was incredible! 🌟 Our residents gathered in the Town Hall to watch our Life+ informational video and discover all the amazing ways this program will support Longevity, Connection, Movement & Nutrition.
Here are a few highlights from our kickoff day:
🚶‍♂️ Million Step Challenge: Residents got to stepping and signed up to reach a whole new level of fitness together with a lap around RO!
💦 Hydration Stations: Refreshing infused water stations were set up in our front lobbies to keep everyone hydrated and glowing.
💆‍♀️ Relaxation Pod: Residents signed up for exclusive sessions in our brand-new RelaxSpace pod to unwind, reset, and recharge.
🍃 The Wellness Tree: Everyone stopped by our community Wellness Tree to write on a leaf and share what "living well" means to them!
Thank you to all of our wonderful residents and staff who came out to make this launch such a success! Here’s to living well, staying active, and thriving together. 💚✨
