YET RESILIENT 🌊 + SERENITY 🌅
Psalm 89:9: “You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them.”
The pain was still there.
But so was the peace.
And the peace was stronger.
I painted YET RESILIENT when the waves were mounting up.
I painted SERENITY before my body caught up to my faith.
Because SERENITY isn’t “everything is perfect.”
SERENITY is “I am anchored” while I heal.
It’s hope already in place for the next battle.
Maybe your surging sea isn’t a medical report.
Maybe it’s the bills that won’t stop mounting up.
The relationship that feels like it’s drowning.
The job you got laid off from.
The anxiety that crashes like waves at 2am.
The prodigal child. The empty house. The dream that died.
Whatever your sea looks like — He rules over it.
Peace in the process.
Peace brings hope. Hope brings strength.
Peace is not the end of the story —
it is fuel for the next battle.
God doesn’t wait for the storm to pass to give you peace.
He gives you peace IN the pieces.
Sunset while waves still roll.
Birds still flying while you’re learning to stand again.
I painted SERENITY AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED —
before the circumstances changed.
Because faith paints the sunrise before the night ends.
If you’re staring at a surging sea today —
You don’t have to be calm to be conquering.
You don’t have to feel fixed to have faith.
You just have to be anchored.
