But underneath all that fun, his little body is doing some pretty incredible work—building postural control, processing vestibular and proprioceptive input, strengthening motor planning, developing confidence, and learning that movement can feel safe and FUN.

Being a mom has shaped the way I practice occupational therapy more than any certification ever could. 🤍

I know what it feels like to wonder if something is being missed. To search for answers, advocate for your child, and carry the weight of wanting to give them every opportunity to thrive.

That’s why we don’t just look at the behavior in front of us at Playful Paths. We look deeper. We ask more questions. We consider the nervous system, reflexes, sensory processing, development, connection, and all the little pieces that may not have been connected yet.

I’m a mom who gets it.
I’m an OT who will keep digging.

Did you know we don’t only work with kids? We support the whole family. 🤍

So often as parents of children who need extra support, we pour our hearts and souls into helping our kids—giving everything we have until we’re completely drained. But the truth is, in order to help our kids more effectively, we also have to be functioning optimally ourselves.

Even when we’re away, we’ll find anywhere to climb, move, explore, and have a little fun. Because around here, play isn’t just what we do—it’s kind of who we are. 😉

We’re officially BACK, recharged, and so excited to get back to our Playful Paths families! 🤍

We spent the last few days learning, growing, and soaking up some incredible training—and we can’t wait to bring everything we learned back into the clinic and share it with our amazing clients.

Playful Paths has officially made it to Salt Lake City, Utah! 🏔️

One thing about us… we’ll travel wherever we need to go to learn from the best. ✈️📚

We’re constantly investing in advanced training, asking more questions, digging deeper, and expanding the way we support the little bodies and minds that walk through our doors.

Because when we learn more, we can do more for our families. 🤍

So for now… we’re soaking it ALL in here in Salt Lake City. 🏔️🧠✨

Sometimes infant OT looks like tummy time, movement, oral motor work, feeding support, and helping little bodies release tension…

And sometimes it ends like this. 🥹🤍

At Playful Paths, we support the whole baby — feeding, movement, regulation, development, and connection — because it’s all connected.
