▫️ Eases or can help you manage stress.

Com·mu·ni·ty: fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

Even though this is one standard definition of community for us at Heal the Culture, it's all about CONNECTION. Throughout our events, future objectives and mission we aim to build a unified community.

YOU, our HTC Champions make the community thrive! Every time you donate, pour out your time by showing up to our events or help us with resources, we fight the stigma and help each other find purpose on our journey.

Healing is continual. Today, we want to affirm you and tell you that: YOU are worthy of being healed and operating from a place of WHOLENESS.

Do you think perfectionism exists?
Have you ever dealt with perfectionism?
If so, what are some practical ways you have overcome this?

The month of May can be celebrated in more ways than one. Significantly this month is not only Asian American and Pacific Islander Month but, it is Mental Health Awareness Month!

As we reflect over this past year, we just want to highlight and acknowledge just how much the pandemic effected everyone from all walks of life and may have impacted their mental health. Even us here at HTC. So, this month, we want you to know that you are not alone!

On March 30th, the world comes together and raises awareness for a mental health disorder called Bipolar Disorder. On , we want to continue to fight stigma and normalize conversations around mental health as a community.

Our founder Roosevelt Stinger Jr., was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 1993. Heal the Culture was birthed out of lack of support Stringer received after his diagnosis. "I started Heal the Culture to provide a support system for others hat was not truly in place when I was first diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in the early 90's. Secondly I wanted to address the elephant in the room, running rampant in the Black community surrounding mental health - in most Black homes and Black churches."

As a result, Heal the Culture is here to promote having healthy conversations, healing, fighting the stigma and wholeness. 🙏🏾🔥💚
