Had an amazing time presenting at Flynn Group this past week for a corporate wellness session focused on mindful eating, metabolic health, and how nutrition impacts our biometrics, energy, cravings, and even weight loss. 🙌

One thing that came up again and again during my 1:1 conversations with employees was insulin resistance, intense cravings, low energy, and difficulty losing weight.

And interestingly… many of these same individuals were skipping breakfast or eating very little in the morning. 🍳

This simple habit can wreak havoc on blood sugar balance, increase cravings later in the day, impact cortisol levels, and make it much harder to support metabolic health.

Mindful eating isn’t about perfection — it’s about learning how to fuel your body consistently and intentionally. Small changes truly create big results.

One of the most powerful tools we discussed? Wearing a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) to better understand how food, stress, sleep, and habits impact blood sugar in real time. 📈

Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸❤️💙

We made patriotic sheet pan pancakes topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries, and they may officially be our new family favorite 🥞✨ Perfect for the holiday weekend and so easy to make ahead for a crowd!

Today we also want to take a moment to honor and thank all of the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. We are so grateful for your courage and dedication ❤️🤍💙

These pancakes were made with coconut flour instead of traditional white or wheat flour. While regular refined flours can spike blood sugar levels and contribute to insulin resistance and metabolic dysfunction over time, alternative flours like coconut flour and almond flour can be a great option for more balanced blood sugar — especially if you struggle with insulin resistance, PCOS, prediabetes, or energy crashes after meals.

This is such a fun, healthy, blood sugar balancing and easy board to throw together to celebrate the Memorial Day this weekend! I love being able to make something festive but also nourishing and naturally colored to the theme!

A few items to add to your shopping list
🧀Variety of white cheeses - white cheddar, mozzarella cheese sticks, Parmesan
🍅 Cherry tomatoes

🍓Strawberries
🐷Nitrate free & no added sugar - salami, pepperoni and prosciutto
