8 years of empowering caregivers with information, resources, and direct support.

8 years of doing what we can do, and it making a difference for those who have felt helpless.

We give hope, advocate for residents' rights to be enforced, share stories of the challenges faced in long-term care, and help overcome fear, which stands in the way of improved care.

Join our mission by volunteering, donating, or attending our in-person event, where people support a unique organization like ours in advancing a mission for residents left behind, often simply because they have aged.

Exactly one month away! Get your tickets now for a fun time out for a great cause! A portion of the funds raised will be used for our Secret Santa project for residents in nursing homes, including those with no one to buy for them!

If you can't make it, be one to buy a ticket in spirit- another way to support a good cause.

We have also worked with this organization, and a group of their kids made suncatchers for residents. We would love a volunteer to work with this organization to help engage the kids in projects for EA with this organization.

Hats off to The New Richmond Heights Family Council!

This is one of the things we do! We started off with passing out books and pdf's of EA's Family Council Toolkit.

We start with a general template (1st flyer) form from the book to get one started.

Now, the family council is working on their own flyer (2nd flyer)that they will post and hand out at their 1-hour meeting every month.

It takes a few to build it; then they will come. One hour a month to work towards better care for your loved one is priceless, no matter how short or long they live there. If a facility is against working together, there is a reason, and it is usually not a good one.

When your loved one no longer resides in a long-term care facility, be the one to hand the torch to the new families coming in to keep the support going for all entering this arena of care.

The health care system has its associations; the family councils are your support systems.
