Just wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes on why you may sometimes see sales or promotions on the Rowe Casa website that I’m not able to offer in-store. ❤️
This is not a silly question at all, and I completely understand why you’d wonder!
As a small local retailer, my margins simply aren’t always large enough to match every sale offered directly through the Rowe Casa website. Their typical shipping times can also be around 2–3 weeks, and free shipping requires a fairly high order minimum. That’s one of the biggest benefits of shopping local — you can get the products when you need them, without waiting weeks or paying additional shipping.
My goal with The Crunchy Collective is to keep a good selection of Rowe Casa products right here locally and readily available for you. I know how frustrating it is when you run out of something and need it ASAP!
The good news is that Rowe Casa did improve the margins for their wholesale partners this year, so I’m hopeful that as we continue to grow, I’ll eventually be able to offer more sales and promotions of my own. 🙌
I also want to be transparent that I’m still rebuilding after the Painted Tree bankruptcy. Like many of the small businesses that were affected, I personally lost thousands of dollars when that happened, and I’m working hard to recover those losses while continuing to keep our local inventory stocked.
So when you shop local, you’re not just buying a product — you’re helping a small business recover, stay open, keep products available locally, and continue building something that I truly love. ❤️
