Not my usual morning post, but I'm still out here manifesting the perfect person to join our little slice of heaven here in Colebrook!

If you’re the kind of person who walks into a busy kitchen and doesn’t wait to be told what needs to be done because you can SEE what needs doing and just DO it, we may be looking for you!

We are getting even busier, and we’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Utility team member to jump into the mix and help keep our kitchen moving.

And when I say FAST-paced, I mean FAST-paced!

There is always something happening. One minute you may be packaging our prepared foods, the next you’re prepping, stocking front of house cases, washing dishes, cleaning equipment or jumping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed.

Basically, if you like standing around looking at your phone or for something to do, this probably isn’t your jam.

We need someone who can work independently, take initiative and keep moving, while also understanding that a kitchen is a team sport. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details and understands that keeping a kitchen clean, organized and running smoothly is just as important as the food we create.

A few things you should know:

This is a fast-paced, hands-on kitchen where everything is made from scratch, so experience and kitchen skills ARE necessary.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Dependability and the ability to work independently are a must.

Food prep, dishing, stocking, cleaning and general kitchen support are all part of the job.

ServSafe certification is a plus.

Competitive pay based on skills and experience.

I know I’m looking for a bit of a diamond in the rough, but I also know this person exists.

Bob and I were Blessed by Bear medicine 2x today. Before we went to work at 5:30 and as we settled at home after work at 7:30.

And after last night’s Full Moon energy we are so appreciative of it.
