VA healthcare is getting closer to home for thousands of Central Texas Veterans.

A new VA outpatient clinic in Round Rock will expand access to primary care, mental health, specialty services, and more, reducing travel times for Veterans across Williamson and Travis counties.

“Veterans have to travel a long way... Especially if they're disabled veterans, you're putting a burden on them. So, proximity is really important,” said Texas Veterans Commission Executive Director Tom Palladino.

The FBI issued a warning of a hospice care fraud scheme that targets Medicare recipients. Scammers enroll patients in hospice care for services they do not need or that are not provided.
