Today, we celebrate 250 years of America—a nation built on courage, sacrifice, faith, and the unwavering belief that freedom is worth protecting.

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day, may we also pause to remember the men and women who have stood in the gap for generations so that we can enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted. Their service has come at a cost—not only to them, but also to the spouses, children, and families who have faithfully walked beside them.

At Her Warrior Heart, we are honored to stand with those families. We believe that behind every warrior is a heart that has carried burdens, celebrated victories, endured sacrifices, and remained steadfast through uncertainty.

As America turns 250, may we never forget that freedom is not simply inherited—it is protected by ordinary people willing to do extraordinary things.

Today we celebrate our nation.
We honor those who serve.
We remember those who gave everything.
And we pray that God continues to bless America with courage, wisdom, and unity for generations to come.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” — Psalm 33:12

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Many of you know my husband, Mark “Oz” Geist, because of what happened in Benghazi September 11th and 12th 2012. They know the battle he fought that night. What they don’t always see are the battles that came after—the physical recovery, the emotional scars, the uncertainty, the financial struggles, the questions, the seasons where we wondered what God was doing, and the countless moments where giving up would have seemed easier.

We’ve faced mountains that looked far too big to climb. But I’ve learned something about mountains. God never asked us to have mountain-sized faith. He asked us to have faith the size of a mustard seed.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” — Matthew 17:20

It wasn’t perfect faith that carried us.
It wasn’t fearlessness. It wasn’t having all the answers.
It was choosing, day after day, to trust the One who did.

Sometimes our mustard-seed faith looked like praying when we didn’t know what else to do.
Sometimes it looked like taking the next step when we couldn’t see the whole path.
Sometimes it looked like simply believing God hadn’t forgotten us.

The mountain didn’t always move overnight.

But looking back, I can see that while we were asking God to move the mountain, He was moving us—strengthening our faith, refining our hearts, and reminding us that nothing is impossible for Him.

Maybe you’re staring at a mountain today—a diagnosis, a broken relationship, financial hardship, grief, fear, or a dream that feels impossible.

Don’t underestimate the power of a mustard seed.

Your faith doesn’t have to be big.
Your God is.

And that’s more than enough.

💜 What an incredible weekend.

As we close another Her Warrior Heart Retreat, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Watching women lay down burdens, embrace God’s truth, encourage one another, and leave walking a little taller in who He created them to be is something I will never take for granted.

We laughed, worshipped, prayed, reflected, and were reminded that our identity isn’t found in our past, our circumstances, or the labels we’ve carried—it’s found in Christ.

To every woman who said “yes” to coming, thank you for trusting us with your heart. It was an honor to walk alongside you this weekend.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, served, supported, and helped make this retreat possible. Your generosity and faithfulness made an eternal difference.

As you get settled home, my prayer is that you continue to walk confidently in the truth of who God says you are. Don’t let this weekend be the finish line—let it be the beginning.

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles…” — Isaiah 40:31

Until next time… keep fighting with courage, walking in truth, and remembering that you are deeply loved by God. 💜🛡️

December 7, 1941 — We Remember.

Today, we honor the brave men and women who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor in service to our nation. Their courage, sacrifice, and devotion to freedom will never be forgotten.

We also honor the wives, mothers, children, and families who carried on at home — shouldering heartbreak with strength, resilience, and unwavering love. Their quiet courage held families together and shaped generations.

At Her Warrior Heart, we recognize that service does not end on the battlefield. It lives on in the hearts of those who waited, prayed, endured, and carried forward a legacy of honor.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We stand in gratitude.
