What if “crashing out” isn’t always about being crazy… but about being emotionally exhausted?

In today’s raw and unfiltered Room2Breathe conversation, we’re flipping the script on what society calls a “crash out.” We’re talking about emotional burnout, nervous system overload, suppressed emotions, survival mode, mental exhaustion, trauma responses, self-abandonment, boundaries, and the reality of trying to hold everything together while secretly falling apart.

This episode is for the people who are tired of pretending they’re okay.
The strong friends.
The overthinkers.
The emotionally overloaded.
The people carrying grief, burnout, anxiety, people-pleasing, emotional suppression, and survival mode all at once.

We’re unpacking:
Crash out culture & emotional dysregulation
 Burnout vs “being dramatic”
Why emotionally exhausted people feel “unhinged”
Nervous system overload & survival mode
Why some people don’t need judgment—they need support
 Self-destruction vs emotional release
 Healing for the emotionally tired
 Boundaries, rest, and emotional honesty
The pressure of always being “the strong one”
What healing ACTUALLY looks like in real life

If you’ve ever felt one inconvenience away from losing it…
this conversation is for you.
 Healing isn’t always pretty.
Sometimes the breakdown is the beginning of honesty.
Sometimes “crashing out” is really your spirit begging for care.

Take a breath. You are not alone here.

Have you ever had a moment where you suddenly realized… “I’m okay right now”?

Not everything fixed.
Not everything perfect.
But for a second… you felt peace.

That moment has a name: Kairosclerosis.

In this Word of the Week episode of the Room2Breathe Podcast, we’re breaking down the meaning of kairosclerosis (kai-roh-skluh-ROH-sis)—a powerful concept that describes the awareness of happiness as it’s happening… and the desire to hold onto it.

This episode dives deep into:
• Why peace can feel unfamiliar after trauma
• How healing shows up in small, quiet moments
• The truth about emotional growth and self-awareness
• Why you don’t need a “perfect life” to feel okay
• Learning to trust peace without sabotaging it

If you’ve been on a healing journey, working on your mental health, setting boundaries, or learning how to choose yourself—this conversation will meet you right where you are.

Holding on to what no longer serves you is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die…

And for a lot of us? That “poison” isn’t just one thing.

In this episode of the Room2Breathe Podcast, we’re getting real about the layers that keep us stuck:
Trauma that your body still holds
Fear that keeps you choosing familiar pain
Abandonment wounds that make you overstay
Abuse that rewired how you see yourself
Betrayal that made you question trust
 Bitterness, unforgiveness, and regret
Comparison and imposter syndrome that make you feel “behind”

This is not a surface-level “just let it go” conversation.

This is about understanding why it’s so hard to release what’s hurting you—and how to begin choosing yourself anyway.

If this speaks to you, drop a green heart in the comments and share this with someone who needs it.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE
Why trauma keeps you emotionally stuck even after it’s over
How fear disguises itself as safety
The connection between abandonment and self-abandonment
How abuse impacts your self-worth and identity
Why betrayal makes it hard to trust again
How bitterness and regret keep you tied to the past
Why comparison and imposter syndrome block your healing
Practical mindset shifts to start letting go

Today is April 1st — the day the world celebrates jokes, pranks, and being somebody’s fool. But let me ask you something real this morning…

How many times in life have we played the fool without even realizing it?

Not the funny kind. The painful kind.

• Staying too long where we weren’t valued
• Explaining ourselves to people committed to misunderstanding us
• Shrinking so others could stay comfortable
• Ignoring red flags we knew damn well were red

Sometimes the real joke isn’t what someone did to us. It’s the moment we wake up and realize we deserve better than what we accepted.

And that’s the beautiful thing about healing. Eventually… you stop being the fool in someone else’s story and start becoming the author of your own.

So yes — today might be April Fools. But for some of us? This is the season where the joke flips.

The people who underestimated you…
The situations that tried to break you…
The version of you that thought you had to settle…

The joke’s not on you anymore!

You learned. You healed. You grew. And now?

You move different.

Take a breath today and check in with yourself.

What’s something in your life you used to tolerate… that the healed version of you would never accept again?

No right or wrong answers — just reflection. Drop your thoughts below if you feel called to share. 💚💚💚

Family, this episode is for every woman who has ever felt “behind” in her healing… for anyone who survived first and learned how to heal later.

In this week’s episode of the Room2Breathe Podcast, I’m joined by Persephone Coaching, a Self-Perception & Confidence Coach whose story reminds us that healing doesn’t have a deadline and confidence doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from self-acceptance.

We talk about:
✨ Navigating trauma and self-perception
✨ Surviving teen motherhood and societal stereotypes
✨ Late healing and trusting the process of becoming
✨ Embracing your perfectly imperfect journey

If you’ve been in a cocoon season—quiet, uncomfortable, misunderstood—this conversation will speak to your spirit. Your becoming is not delayed. It’s intentional.

🎧 Tap in, breathe deep, and listen now.

Drop a 💚 in the comments if this episode resonates, and share it with someone who needs permission to grow without guilt.

We’re healing in community, one breath at a time.

Family 💚
It’s finally here.

OVERFLOW is now live on Spotify ✨
This album is not about grinding harder or proving anything to anyone. It’s about intention. Alignment. Letting your cup stay full. It’s about choosing peace, honoring growth, and allowing abundance to flow without guilt.

Overflow was created as a sonic safe space—a place to breathe, reflect, release, and reset as we step into a new season. Every word, every sound, every pause was intentional. This is music for the healing journey. For the woman who survived, slowed down, and decided she deserves more than survival.

🎧 I highly recommend listening with headphones for the full experience.

Tap in, take your time, and let this album meet you right where you are.

We’re not doing more this year—we’re moving with intention.
