One of our favorite things to hear is the number of people who said they only planned to come to the festival for a short period, to only end up STILL being there hours later!

We had such a great time watching They’re Trying To Kill Us as part of Plant the Power (PTP) VegFest weekend with film director J O H N • H O O D •L E W I S • M.B.A.

Not only did we get to learn more about what inspired John’s vegan journey + his life growing up in Ferguson, we also learned about the many interconnected and nuanced ways communities of color are being targeted and how we can take our power back.

All sessions, outside of the pre-festival sessions, will take place in the Wells Barn of Franklin Park Conservatory.
