SEO Fights Against ALS

Dear Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we are writing to let you know that as of now we will be putting a halt to our SEO Fights Against ALS walk to defeat ALS. You may still see some presence on our social media pages and see a few small pop up fundraisers in the future.

We are immensely proud of what our organization has been able to achieve over the course of the last 8 years. With the outpouring of love & generous community support we have been able to donate over $133,000 to the ALS Association Central & Southern Ohio Chapter; a non-profit organization very dear to our hearts. Those donations have been used to directly benefit those within our very own communities that have been impacted by this horrible disease.

We strongly encourage you to continue your support to the local ALS chapter in Columbus as they are a much needed resource for those living with ALS, their caregivers and families. Information for the Chapter and ways to show your support can be found at the following links:

ADVOCACY UPDATE: the House Labor-HHS and FDA Appropriations bills fund the Act providing $75M for expanded access grants for therapy research at National Institutes of Health (NIH) and $5M to fund the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Orphan Products Grants Program. The Committee also included our language directing to fund clinical trials and invest in speeding the approval of ALS treatments.

This is a big win for the ALS community in support of our search for treatments and a cure for . Thank you to the hundreds of who helped secure this funding!
