G.I.V.E was birth from life lessons and the belief of good in mankind. I believe that each of us along the way has felt like a failure or either felt loss. Life has a way of making us feel painful, sorrowful, or misguided. Television shows, social med
ia, friends, family, men, women all have created an idealistic world that we should live in and this has left many of us broken and lost. The false perception has painted success in green and given us a false view of value and empowerment. Some of us have reached the financial milestone and still feel hopeless. Hopelessness has blanketed us with no direction. G.I.V.E is an opportunity to share your pain but work towards your purpose. When we are empowered we are strengthened, and ultimately when we are filled with the strength we give to others. I have learned through my struggles that ignorance leaves us lost and paralyzed. As a teenage mother, divorced woman, a woman who looked for love in all the wrong places, a troubled daughter, a lost soul, and much more, I have been empowered by women and men with purpose who have filled my cup with wisdom, knowledge, and love and now I want to do the same to for you.
