The OSHP Clinical Research SIG is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Poster Session at the Annual Meeting & Residency Showcase on Friday November 13th, 2026! The poster abstract submission is open to pharmacists, pharmacy residents, pharmacy students, and pharmacy technicians. Awards will be available to the presenters of 3 posters representing excellence in the session!

The deadline for submission is October 12th!

American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is seeking feedback on its draft Practice Advancement Initiative (PAI) Reimagined recommendations, an updated roadmap designed to advance pharmacy practice, improve patient care, and address emerging challenges in healthcare. Review the draft and submit your comments by July 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET to help shape the future of pharmacy practice over the next 5–15 years. The Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacy (OSHP) is excited to announce an upcoming professional development opportunity designed to strengthen the voice and impact of pharmacy professionals across Ohio.

In collaboration with the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, OSHP will soon launch a new online CE course, resulting in a micro-credential certificate in Legislative Advocacy

Advocacy is essential to shaping the future of pharmacy practice. This course not only teaches the “how,” but provides the opportunity to actively engage, ensuring participants leave with both knowledge and tangible advocacy experience.

OSHP really showed up in the Show Me State! Our delegates were instrumental in passing a new business item to support pharmacists right to protect clinical decision making and were very active at the microphone. Immediate Past President Kellie Musch became a Fellow of ASHP, Indrani Kar presented a poster, and Past President Sam Calabrese spoke for the first time at an ASHP meeting as EVP and CEO of ASHP! St. Louis might be known for the blues, but OSHP didn’t have any this past week at !
